I had a fantastic time at The Ship Inn in Elie. The room was bright and beautifully decorated, featuring a large ensuite bathroom and lovely bay views. I appreciated the cozy atmosphere throughout the inn and the welcoming vibe in the bar area. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything was going well. The food was exceptional, especially the gluten-free options, which made it easy for me to enjoy the same meal as everyone else. I indulged in the gluten-free fish and chips and savored every bite. Breakfast was also a highlight, offering a good variety and fresh ingredients. the Nespresso machine in my room didn’t function properly, spilling water everywhere, which was a hassle. I felt the room could improve with thoughtful touches, like complimentary bottled water, especially given the price point for the stay. Despite these hiccups, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I loved the proximity to the beach and local activities. Would definitely return!

Best GF dining experience ever!
Spent a night in a great place with fab views. The GF menu was a lifesaver! Finally had fish and chips like everyone else—it was delicious! Plus, the raspberry souffle? OMG, so good! Just wished the dining area was a bit bigger since it felt cramped when we were there. Still, can't complain much!
